The central vehicle of Ministry of Russian FEDERATION on taxes and collections executes the followings basic functions:

• conducts directly and organizes work of state tax inspections on realization of control after legislation about taxes and other payments in a budget;

• analyses current, statistical information and results of verifications on places, prepares on their basis of suggestion about development of the instructional methodical pointing and other documents on application of legislative acts about taxes and other payments in a budget;

• develops the forms of tax calculations, reports, declarations and other documents, related to the calculation and payment, taxes and other payments in a budget, and also forms of reports on by state tax inspections to work;

• summarizes practice of application of normative acts on taxes;

• produces in ministries and departments, on the enterprises of of money documents, registers of record-keeping, , plans, estimates, declarations and other documents, related to the calculation and payment of taxes and other payments in a budget;

• organizes work of state tax inspections: on an account, estimation and realization of the confiscated, ownerless property, passing legally inheritance to the state, and treasures; on the leadthrough of verifications of rightness of collection and safety of money facilities, got in satisfaction of duty;

• co-ordinates a leadthrough with law enforcement and supervisory authorities of subjects of Russian FEDERATION of measures on control after the observance of legislation about taxes and other payments in a budget;

• gets, summarizes and analyses the reports of state inspections on the done work and develops suggestions on its perfection, conducts inspections and verifications of work of tax inspections on all levels, measures to the removal of the exposed failings and violations;

• carries out control after consisting of inspector work of tax inspections of subjects of Russian FEDERATION;

• carries out connections with tax services the CIS, foreign states and by international tax organizations;

• prepares jointly with Department of economics of Russian FEDERATION and Minfinom of Russian FEDERATION and will realize intergovernmental agreements about of double taxation of profits and property of and physical persons of countries-participants;

• co-ordinates work on co-operating with the organs of state power and management of all levels.
